Role overview
We are looking for an innovative, passionate and talented Data Analyst / Developer to help build our single supporter view (SSV) for the purpose of supporting personalized email marketing. You’ll work as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team to manage our new business intelligence platform.
This position requires a self-motivated technician with an analytical mind and an in-depth knowledge of data modelling. You will be using our SQL based data warehouse to create and maintain ETL jobs, master data relationships and support our marketing activities. You'll be part of a culture that encourages participation and discussion at all levels. You'll be able to see your impact in the growth of income to support our global programmes.
In this role you will work with our Data and Insight team to design, implement and maintain the data models/data warehouse and reporting structures and perform system administration for the business intelligence platform/tool.Your duties will include managing access permissions, owning and updating security configuration, creating organisational reports and dashboards and managing data exception reporting. Additionally, you will assist users with report / dashboard designs and issues and provide training to drive user adoption.
You will consider our long term organisational strategy to make recommendations and lead initiatives to ensure we grow the platform and make best use of capabilities whilst adhering to a sound change delivery process.

We are looking for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who is pro-active, able to communicate clearly, collaborate across all levels of the organisation and manage their own time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with Data and Insight team to design, implement and maintain a single supporter view in ETL Agile/TimeXtender (our SQL-based data warehouse).
* Act as the primary advocate of data modeling methodologies and data processing best practices.
* Develop and maintain data mapping documentation
* Develop a two way data synchronisation with our CRM systems
* Develop and customize new functionality, reports & dashboards to meet business requirements
* Help develop campaign performance measurement systems
* Work with the wider data team to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy
Requirements
* Excellent SQL program ming skills, incuding SSIS and SSAS
* Data modelling experience, including the creation and documentation of data schemas
* Proven hands on experience with extract transform and load (ETL) processes and configuration of data warehouses.
* Power BI data modelling, dashboard creation and visualisation skills.
* Comfortable learning new technologies and tools on the job (CRM)
* Experience of using cloud based technologies, preferably Azure
* A positive, collaborative mind-set and a desire to deliver real business value to our stakeholders
* Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills and the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
