Your next position will:
To provide strategic leadership and technical advice to support the growth of VSO’s emerging Inclusive SRHR programme in Myanmar. Key areas of work will also include coordinating an ongoing MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) project.
What it takes to be Social Cohesion Technical Advisor with VSO:
- Experience of delivering complex health development programmes, particularly initiatives which enhance fulfilment of SRHR for excluded and marginalised people
- Proven ability to engage with a range of stakeholders including government, CSOs, networks and communities
- Excellent understanding and experience of the project cycle management, organisational assessment, planning and MEL tools and processes.
- Experience of managing, developing and coaching high performing teams.
- Strong representation and negotiation skills – ability to negotiate and maintain excellent relations with a diverse range of donors, partners and with external stakeholders.
- Experienced in financial management, including budget planning, monitoring and managing expenditure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of compiling high quality donor reports.
- Right to work in Myanmar. VSO will not be able to provide for visa and work permit.
