Role overview
To provide professional nursing expertise in the screening and preparation of volunteers and employees to work for VSO, and provide support and advice to VSO country offices and volunteers / employees when they are ill.
This role is for a fixed term until the end of September 2020 and is part-time (14 - 21 hours per week Monday to Friday).
Skills, qualifications and experience
You should have experience in travel health medicine as well as ideally pre-deployment health screening, and will need to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will need excellent communication skills by phone and email, the ability to build relationships in a complex organisation and prioritise a varied and demanding workload. Ideally you will have experience of being office-based.
