Role overview
• Coordinate the delivery of Shakespeare Lives 2016 partnership with British Council in with all internal and external stakeholders
Manage the delivery of the agreed Shakespeare Lives implementation plan to meet agreed timescales and within budget
Proactively work with all stakeholders to identify and develop new opportunities for fundraising and awareness raising benefit to VSO, across all income streams and activities agreed within the Shakespeare Lives framework
Lead on specific discrete new opportunities identified and agreed with lead responsibles in Business Development Directorate
Maintain up to date project management systems for regular coordination, updates and fulfilment of KPIs/milestones
Skills, qualifications and experience required
Excellent project manager with experience of delivering project support within a complex fundraising and communications third sector organization. Strong organizational skills including planning, scheduling, problem-solving, implementation support and high levels of attention to detail and accuracy. Experienced in working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to achieve joint goals and/or fundraising targets. A confident communicator and negotiator used to working with different levels of knowledge and varying stakeholder needs. In depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative information management for fundraising using customer relationship data bases
An interest in international development issues and an understanding of, and commitment to, VSO’s aims
