Role overview
We are seeking an experienced senior Data and Insight Manager to join the fundraising leadership team within VSO. You will be responsible for leading on VSO's data strategy, delivering insight and analysis to guide critical business decisions, and will ensure VSO upholds its ability to manage high quality data.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership to deliver proactive insight that guides the way we fundraise and have a flare for developing and improving data processes. Though primarily working within our Public Fundraising department, you will be working in a multi-CRM environment, providing a range of data services right across the business development division and will lend your experience to wider organisational projects.
Skills, qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will have Experience in a similar role and a track record of leading technical data management teams to deliver internal client services. You will have excellent senior stakeholder management skills and have strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills to a wide audience. You will be 'hands on' in developing technical solutions and demonstrate passion for and deep knowledge of data management, fundraising operations and of the challenges they face You will have demonstrable experience of working with, and getting the best out of, supporter/ customer databases.
