To lead the group financial planning & analysis function, producing high impact management information, robust planning and forecasting along with analysis and recommendations to add value to VSO, inform decision making and contribute to VSO achieving its objectives
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience of information modeling (financial and non financial), including design development, implementation and documentation
- Ability to design and implement systems and to adapt existing systems in response to changing user requirements
- Experience of producing management information and analysis for Executive and Board
- To lead the group financial planning & analysis function, producing high impact management information, robust planning and forecasting along with analysis and recommendations to add value to VSO, inform decision making and contribute to VSO achieving its objectives
- Experience International Development sector, including experience overseas
- Experience of managing teams
- Strong influencing skills
- Leading and supporting individuals and teams through change
- Experience of managing a number of internal and external stakeholders
- Challenging systems processes and initiating improvements and change
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Precise, accurate, articulate, persuasive and concise.
- Ability to explain financial information to non-financial staff in a clear and concise way.
- Good presentation skills, including collaboratively producing and delivering presentations. Chairing formal meetings ensuring positive outcomes and agreed actions.NB: This position is on a fixed-term contract.
